The bridge, stairs, and trail project is just a community service thing that Dr. Eastmond has tried to get done for awhile it seems. I loved doing it; and if the Campus Planning group allows I'll be in charge of a group to plant some type of grass or something that will help control erosion of the trail. The bridge is really sturdy! Now, we get to come up with funraising. And supposedly, I'm on the committee for that too. At least Jaimie pointed at me when Dr. Eastmond asked her who her helpers were. Hum. Ok, I'll do whatever. Mostly our class didn't want to take on a more strictly fundraising project to give to Africans because we wanted to work ourselves. Selfish maybe? But it still fits with our class comparing and contrasting South Africa and the USA.
Some songs on the radio are just so weird and get me to laugh out loud. One guy was singing fairly tender and swoony and he said something about nibbling the girl's ear. What?! Funny! I did LOL, HA hA.
Have a great day!

What I'm doing
I didn't get into the Honors program at USU, but I'm glad. I know the Lord has plans for me. I'm going in tomorrow to talk to my advisors and hopefully get an estimate for how much things will cost and put a would be schedule together. Then again I may be filling out a Leave of Absence thing so that I can work and get the money. I really don't want to take out a loan. Plus, I'll be able to get in a lot of stuff that I've wanted to do for awhile. It will be hard, but I'll get an even better work ethic for the real world. I've been studying calc and chem lately. I got to go to Ben and Kyle and Gregg Myers' and Kyle's brothers' apartment on sunday with Ashley Heyder. She visits fairly often it seems. Her and Gregg are like bro and sis. It was fun. Ben and Kyle were gutting about 95lbs pumpkins! They should end up looking pretty nifty!
I've been able to get really involved in my ward and stake because stake conference is this weekend along with the CES broadcast and I get to sing in both. It's gonna be a great sunday!!!! I'm excited. Really getting into the music is key. FHE was wonderful on monday with my ward. We're so crazy! Even though just about everyone is or seems tons older than me. It works out great! Funny story: So, we're playing kick the can and I'm hiding behind a car in these really prickly bushes. Not very good for a hoody turned inside out (the pricklies stuck all over!). So, Kyle (not the before mentioned Kyle this guy I didn't even know his name until after this story)ends up on the other side of the bush and he lays down on the ground under the bush perpendicular to me 'cause we're right at the corner of the bush. I'm half up checking to see where this "it" guy is so that we can work out a plan. He's coming right for us, so I duck. And Kyle asks where he is after a second, so I ebb up to peek and the guy is RIGHT THERE! "He's right there!!!!" Squeaks out of my mouth while I just stand up and get tagged stuck behind a car. Kyle jumps up and runs, but gets tagged. I'm laughing a good one because I bet my face was priceless. He was right there! Then I ask Kyle his name and he told me; it's Kyle. Ryan took me and Justin home which was really nice!
Then I called Jono because I was super hyper and wanted to call someone I hadn't called for awhile. He didn't answer, but I left him a really cooky voicemail! I even got to listen to it before I sent it and I laughed even harder at how I sounded. Totally crazy! So, that was great fun.
I tried to vote today and somehow my registration thing didn't get in the system, so I have to figure out a different way to vote early, hopefully.

So, Mariah and Shanelle came over to figure out where the Business building was and to drop off a clarinet to get fixed. So, I went and showed them and stuff. I felt cool that I knew where a lot of stuff was and was pretty proficient in knowing what I was doing. Now, I've just got to work on how I convey these things to those around me. I went to college FHE for the first time in a long time.
Justin from my social issues class asked what a 'calling' was becuase he's not mormon and so Siri and I were able to explain a bit. I hope I get to talk to him more about the subject.
Back to Mariah, we had great fun talking and such and getting confused and such. Few times driving in the BIG city for Mariah. We got pizza at Papa Murphy's and watched some Disney TV while they were here and I corrected my papers for Math 1210. That's my job.
I didn't get accepted into the Honors program at USU, but it felt like a burden was lifted when I read the email. Rather than feeling degraded and dejected I felt alieviated and set free! Which is kind of weird, but I know that God has a great plan in store for me whichever way it may need to take. I'm ready for it! Let's go.

I still think this blog stuff is really weird. Well, my social issues class and I and community members starte the building of the bridge/trail/stairs today. It was intense!!!! Got lots done, and I can't wait to be sore, again, in the morning. I look like I have a whole new pair of shoes because they are so covered in dirt as well as myself. But it couldn't have been funner! I got to know my classmates much better which was way fun! Dr. Eastmond's wife came and picked me up from my house, funny! Dr. Eastmond is really funny in his mannerisms as well. Worked from 9:45 ish to 4 ish. With a 45min or so lunch break provided by the Eastmond's. Mo, Micheal, Dr. Eastmond's adopted child now in his 20s came and helped. He's a cool guy.
It's weird feeling like I'm writing this stuff to nobody in particular. And then I go to my journal and write about the same thing. It seems too redudant.
